Cheshire Police approached Ai Lighting to provide a solution to replace a lighting control system that had become defunct and mismanaged over a number of years.
Overview:
The general lighting was incorporated into a trunking system that had since become obsolete with the original major lighting manufacturer who offered no alternative or solution to the problem.
Poor specification has resulted in a system which the client has no ability to manage or maintain their lighting & controls system.
Solution:
Ai lighting designed and manufactured a custom LED luminaire that would fit the existing trunking extrusion, using Tridonic LED & Driver technology the custom luminaires could be easily maintained and managed by the clients FM Team for years to come.
There was also a requirement to manufacture a replica trunking system to match the existing following redevelopment works. Again our custom manufacturing partner designed and produced a custom solution for the client.
A full wireless controls solution was integrated into the custom luminaires to provide a complete Dali network with energy monitoring, daylight harvesting and emergency auto-test & auto-reporting functions.
