Covering two specifications this project required a combination of control solutions in order to meet each client’s requirements.
For both projects the installation method remained the same with non-intelligent luminaires pre-programmed off site to prevent the need for the installing contractor to open any luminaires during install.
Overview:
For consistency both sections of the project were designed using the same luminaire, conventional integrated controls were employed to meet the requirements of one client and intelligent Wireless Dali controls to enable zonal activation, daylight levelling and Emergency auto-test and reporting for another.
Solution:
The intelligent system was commissioned to ensure traffic lanes, parking bays and pedestrian walkways were correctly illuminated with specific attention paid to potential collision hotspots.
Full Emergency Auto-test and Auto reporting provides the client with a maintenance free emergency test system providing the health status of every emergency luminaire.
Detailed commissioning delivered a compliant lighting system using a complex network of acitivation zones and daylight levelling in areas where natural light was present, provding the client with an extremely efficient solution.
